Slack message inspector for webhook events

Structured Block Kit messages for captures, delivery successes, and failures — with body previews and a replay link back to HookDeploy.

Three notification types

HookDeploy sends structured Block Kit messages — not generic Zapier alerts. Each event type includes the context your team needs.

Setup in three steps

  1. Connect your Slack workspace in Org Settings → Notifications
  2. Pick channels for failures, captures, and successes
  3. Optionally override channels per endpoint

Feature highlights

  • Different channels per event type — failures, captures, and successes
  • Per-endpoint channel overrides on Starter and above
  • @channel and @here mentions on failure notifications
  • Body preview in messages so you see payload context without leaving Slack
  • Open replay in HookDeploy from Slack failure messages
  • Works with public and private channels

FAQ

Does HookDeploy need to be added to my Slack channels? +
Yes — for private channels, invite the HookDeploy bot to the channel before selecting it in settings. Public channels work automatically once your workspace is connected.
Can I use different channels for different endpoints? +
Yes. On Starter and above you can override org defaults per endpoint — different channels for failures, captures, and successes. Team plans also support per-destination failure channel overrides.
What plan do I need? +
Slack notifications require Starter ($9/mo) or above. The Free plan does not include Slack notifications.

Connect Slack on Starter or above

Create a free account first, then upgrade to Starter ($9/mo) to enable Slack notifications.
